Local Dimention Control Workflow

I’m currently working on a dataset captured by UAV.<1000 images in tiff format.

I have complated the model and just received the DC (Dimention Control report), all GPS was stripped out before alignment and reconstruction.

The x,y,z are coordinates based on a local network and not geolocated, as the model is not to be geolocated.

So I now have a model, realigned with 6 x GCPs.  The model has changed location from flat along the grid to pointing up?

Secondly, after entering the GCPs x,y,z.  My Test points are reading 200.9meters, which sould be 200mm.  I assume there is an issue with my input.  But equally i dont understand the “e:” next to each GCP.  What are the e meanings?

Finaly is there a workflow, documented which has each step listed on how to go from images to final export?

Many thanks, Chris.

Hi Chris,

did you hit update (next to the alignment button) and/or re-align after defining the GCPs?

You also need to set the project units. By standard it is meters, you seem to needing millimeters.

The "e"s are the errors remaining for each GCP. This should be documented in the help section…

Your GCP coordinates may have different order. It’s Y, X, Z
