I have been working on this model for a week, at the final touch the program quitted itself, and now when i want to load the project it gives me this error. I had almost a hundred specified GCP, and would dread doing that again. I do have autosave enabled, but i don’t see any option to use the autosave data without being able to load into the seemingly corrupted saved file. Please help!
Hi megalord.,
I am sorry for this.
Have you followed all these rules: How Can I Preserve the PPI Licenses? ?
As you have autosave on, do you see the autosave file next to the project file?
What were your exact steps in your process? Where are your data saved?
You might be able to salvage some part of the project by editing the .rcproj file.
Always make sure to make a backup of the original project file if you choose to edit it.
You can start by trying it after deleting the latest orthos or models, in case one of them is corrupt:
and if you have several components you may need to delete a whole component:
perhaps before doing that check that none of your inputs have corrupted or been changed or moved. Also perhaps try to clear the cache and do a clean install beforehand:
Please try to clear the cache manually as described here , and launch the application whilst holding down shift, and you should see the following options:
Then select “make like a clean install”
Thank you! I checked the rcproj file and found that the program don’t seem to be complete.
Some lines seem to be missing compared to yours. So i took from my other earlier saved files, and added what seems to be missing. So i added this.
After loading, it showed me this. I tried to remove model by model but it prompted the same error.
Out of curiosity i check gcp files, it is still available but shows gargage when i open it, not sure if this could be the cause?
Please help!
ps: new users can only post 1 image so i removed the rest
Hi,
it is possible that rcproj file won’t be the same as showed one. It is just the example. It depends on the date you have computed in your project.
By early saved files do you mean this same project or some other project?
According to this new error it seems like some issue with your control points. What do you mean by GCP files? Where you checked it? GCP file should be not related to RealityCapture, it is only to use to set the coordiantes for control points.
