I’m looking to do something probably a bit unusual here.
As many of us have realised, the ue4 level editor sucks for building many level types.
I have created my own character BP which can place assets in play mode to act as a custom level editor.
I am aware you can save assets placed in play mode to a save slot.
Is there a way that this save slot can update the level I am working on to apply these changes, so that when I exit play mode the normal ue4 editor also shows these changes I just made in play mode?
That way I can build a level using different techniques between my own play mode custom editor and he normal one?
If anyone has any thoughts or has ever done anything similar I’d love to hear about it.
