LiveLinkHub startup plugin errors

I am getting plugin errors with LiveLinkHub on startup that is preventing the app from running.

I had LiveLinkHub running, but did not see PoseAI as a source option in UEFN. I looked into the plug-ins folder for PoseAI and attempted to activate it. Since then, I can no longer run LiveLinkHub. I get the following dialogs that pop up before it starts:

The ‘Bridge’ plugin was designed for build 5.3.0. Attempt to load it anyway? (yes/no)

The ‘Fab’ plugin was designed for build 5.3.0. Attempt to load it anyway? (yes/no)

The ‘PoseAILiveLink’ plugin was designed for build 5.3.0. Attempt to load it anyway? (yes/no)

Plugin ‘FastBuildController’ failed to load because module ‘FastBuildController’ could not be found. Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project. (ok)

Answering either Yes or No to the first three has no impact; the final one offers only Ok, which then aborts the app’s loading.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled LiveLinkHub, and the error remains. I cannot start LiveLinkHub from within either 5.5.3 or UEFN or directly from the Epic Launcher.

Has something changed in the registry? Something in UEFN or UE settings that needs to be changed?

Solved it. I had to run LiveLinkHub with the -enginedir command line option to specify the location of my UE5.5 install; it was defaulting to my UE 5.3 folder for some reason. That’s why I was getting the errors about plugins built for 5.3! Erg.

Well, an update…and it’s not exactly fixed yet. Any help would be greatly welcomed!

It ran once, perfectly fine, (from the launcher), and I was able to make a recording via LiveLinkFace, but then when I tried to run it a second time (from the launcher, again) it fails due to the following error.

Plugin ‘UbaController’ failed to load because module ‘UbaController’ could not be loaded. There may be an operating system error or the module may not be properly set up.

This error spawned whether using the -enginedir option to specify my UE5.5 install location or not.

To get it to run, I disabled the UBA Controller plugin in UE (which was installed by default when installing 5.5.3). BUT, I can only start LiveLinkHub from within UE 5.5. I can’t run it from the launcher, whether the -enginedir option is provided or not.

It also won’t run for me from UEFN either. I can open UEFN & UE, spawn LiveLinkHub from UE, and it will connect to UEFN, but this isn’t the way it’s supposed to work, right!?
