I’m having an issue when process video in new LiveLink Hub in 5.6.
When I press “Start” to process the video, the progress reaches 74.9% and then stops.
The JPG image sequence starts generating correctly in the output folder, but after the process fails, the sequence gets deleted automatically.
What I’ve Tried:
-Tested with different codecs (H.264, ProRes, etc.)
-Changed the output folder location (different drives, local vs external)
Im having the same issue here… It just gets to 74.9% and fails for some unknown reason. No matter how clean the footage is. At first I thought it had something to do with the footage quality but that doesnt seem to be the case
Posting here for others, my issue was with firewall.
Livelink Hub is a separate process all together and it has to communicate back to the editor.
If you check the log you probably have something like that after it fails:
LogCaptureManagerIngestJobExecutor: Error: [Ingest Executor 1] Ingest failed: Upload failed because the requested endpoint was not found: melpc (Error code: 5)
Close the livelink hub, make sure your firewall is not interfering and relaunch the livelink hub, in the “upload host” section of the queue item you should now see your “host” (name of your computer)
