LiveLink face animation stops working when setting eyes to follow camera UE5.1

Hi guys, I’m still relatively new to UE development, but I’ve had some experience with Metahuman creation and LiveLink facial capture for MH animation.

I’ve been experimenting with LiveLink for metahuman facial animation, but wanted to set the eyes to follow the camera while the animation plays on the face.
However, I’ve encountered some issues while trying to merge both the LiveLink face and custom eye movements. When I add the nodes into the animation blueprint to set the eyes to follow the player and compile, the eyes work as intended, but it seems to prevent the rest of the facial animation from playing (effectively becomes a static face with eyes and neck rotation following the player).

I wasn’t sure if the built-in LiveLink eye movements were conflicting with the custom eye movements and preventing the animation from running, so I went into the LL animation and deleted the eye movements - but this stopped the eyes from moving altogether.

Whatever I do, I seem to get one or the other but can’t successfully blend both the face and eyes together.

I unfortunately can’t share any links or screenshots - but I’m using UE5.1 for reference. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
