LiveLink and Live sequence playback for live performance

Hello community,

I am very fresh to Unreal and all the possibilities of the program. I’m a performer and wanted to incorporate live facial capture in a live performance. My question is a general one about assessing the capabilities of Unreal engine.

I’ve gotten LiveLink to work with a Metahuman, and the low latency live facial capture is truly amazing! I want to make almost a music video style performance using LiveLink with a Metahuman, audio output from unreal, dynamic camera movements, (relatively simple) background elements, lighting changes and if my computer can handle it, have the character transform, all while using LiveLink facial capture, Live. I’d Like to have it all pre programmed, with a simple “Press play” (for the technician to cue) to start the sequence and have it play full screen to a video output, such as a monitor or video projector.

I wanted to assess the feasibility and complexity of this with Unreal before spending time learning all of the complexities of the program.
