How can I use a separate machine as the motionbuilder host and connect it via lan network to an Unreal session on another machine? Locally this works fine but we are splitting up the mocap machine / rendering output machine / mobu operator. The live link plugin for mobu has no controls over server address or output direction (just name).
On the unreal side, I’m aware you can change your UDP endpoint but I’m not entirely sure how to find that address for the motionbuilder machine, assuming it is actually casting out over LAN. We’re able to control this on both sides with our Optitrack machine and mobu plugin but the live link for mobu only has controls for what data you’re sending, not where you’re sending it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
