I’ve unchecked “Use less CPU when in background” but I still can’t get it to update live as I’m manipulating an object in Maya. Upon playback of an animation in Maya, Unreal 5 does update in real-time as well as active camera actor, however other objects/rigs won’t update until I release the mouse button of the manipulator, then it updates.
Figure any of this out? Also having this problem and can’t seem to fix.
Nope, still waiting for someone to figure it out. I’ve seen various tutorials online of people doing it without any problem so I messages one channel and they didn’t know what they did to make it work, it just did aparently.
Does it work with curves for you? Mine works real-time when editing curves but for some reason just won’t work when regularly doing it.
Havent tried editing curves yet, just transfering objects’ tx ty tz rx ry rz sx sy sz. The active camera does update live however for some reason, just not anything else.
Yea it’s weird, actualy animations work in the viewport for me at least but I just can’t see things when moving them without having curves going to each frame. Hopefully somethings pops up with 5.1 releasing soon.
Bump. Having the exact same issue. UE5 viewport won’t update until you release your mouse button.
