Live Feed with Fujifilm (or other digital) Camera?

Greetings! I have recently came across UE5 and virtual production and I am trying to make a very basic project filming a model within a 3D game world. I saw many examples with Blackmagic Pocket Camera and a device that converts the signal into HD and then the live feed is plugged into UE5… But I do not have a BMPC camera and I want to use my Fujifilm XT-4. or any other digital camera. Is there an easy way to do this? Has someone attempted this process? I would be very grateful for the response. Thank you.

You need to feed a video stream into unreal. You can use expensive or inexpensive video capture cards.

If you have an iPhone you can use NDI into Unreal.
If you have a Webcam or something like a Canon that has webcam support that may also work. UE5 changed a few things so you’ll have to experiment.

Note that for professional virtual production you’d want a synced camera, etc. but for experimenting even a webcam can be useful

Thank you so much. I saw Cam Link 4K is quite decent and even supposedly works with my Fujifilm XT-4. I cannot wait for it to arrive. What is your suggestion for 3d tracking as well?

Also I would be happy to see some of people’s works here in this regards (amateur) or yours.

Most people use the vive for 3D tracking for personal projects

Fuji has a webcam software for XT-2 and up: FUJIFILM X Webcam User’s Guide

The CamLink will certainly be better but if you want to try the free solution you may be able to give this a go
