Hey, I am working on a little top down shooter, currently just working on the game play of it so alllllll of the bits are blockout, colours and all.
You are a little white dot. Use the enemies shots to kill other enemies and get the pickups for points. The first 2 pickups fill your shield, then they fill your score.
You can fire your shield off to kill enemies and potentially get you out of a sticky situation but then you have no protection and must gather more pickups for points.
Any thoughts appreciated :), might even be time to start looking at the art soon
Interesting Idea. Based on the current animation, i expected the objects to be pulled into the center of the fired shield when it shrinks.
It extends “grabs” the eobjects and when it shrinks it pulls them to it’s center like a blackhole.
