Here is my recent cinematic short that I created in collaboration with Navrtar!
For this project, I recreated the Virtual Reality Venue environment using Unreal Engine 5 and filmed a short Cinematic in it.
I was responsible for creating the Script, Storyboard, Blocking, Environment Creation, Lighting, Blueprints, Camera, Animation, Sequencer, Rendering and Audio Mixing.
Thanks to Navrtar for giving me this opportunity and special thanks to Alice Howe for the Voice over!
Greetings, @li2san; I hope you’re doing well! Thank you for sharing this incredibly tantalizing cinematic short with us in the forums! Your collaboration with Navrtar was a huge success. This short cinematic hooked me from start to finish, and that cliffhanger ending is unfair.
Might we ever get a resolution to this particular scene, or is this a specific VR gaming experience that Navtar offers? Also, how long did it take for you to complete this project in its entirety?
The zombie-creature-thing looking up and then growling gave me some horrible chills. Genuinely so creepy. I think it was the (superb!) movement of the creature combined with that animalistic mouth. Then the big guy showed up and I was rendered speechless.
Hi @Zezkaii ! Thank you so much for watching my short cinematic! appreciate the kind words!! The environment is the actual virtual reality venue in London which I recreated in unreal to film the cinematic. the zombies used in the clip are also in the VR experience so I was hoping to make it seem like this took place in the VR Venue!
Recreating the environment to look like the real place took the longest! I would say I worked on it in my spare time for about 2 months to finish the whole thing!
WOW! I don’t know how I could’ve missed the answer staring so obviously at me.
Thank you for clarifying, and with that in mind, I experienced your cinematic short with new vigor and can truly appreciate its beauty! I’m sure Navtar is more than pleased with the outcome of your efforts. Again, you did a fantastic job with this creation.
