We’re thrilled to announce that our game is officially available to wishlist on Steam! We’ve been pouring our hearts into this project for years (in a very small team), and with the dedication and continuous support from various parties and companies, we’ve finally reached the exciting stage of publishing it on Steam . We hope the momentum will continue to grow. A huge special thanks to everyone who has helped us along the way!
But enough about appreciation, let’s dive into the game, Lirai. Featuring Unreal Engine 5 as the game engine.
“Lirai is an upcoming third-person action game set in a post-apocalyptic world of zombies and demons, where the obsession to dominate and control the world leads to fear, violence, destruction and, worst of all, extinction. The game has an intense feel, with varied environments and complex character relationships. The storyline reveals dark secrets about what led to the world’s collapse. Players will navigate through this dangerous world, using their combat skills and clever strategies to survive and uncover the truth in a place where chaos reigns.”

We hope you enjoy our work and the trailer.
Thank you so much for tuning in and for your support.
So happy that your game is finally out for wishlisting! I loved the composition of your trailer as well. Everything you included intrigued me and drew my general interest in the game. There is this fresh but almost nostalgic feeling that I can’t quite put my finger on.
If I may ask, will we be able to7 change our weapon or upgrade it throughout the game for different effects?
Thank you so much for the compliment. I really appreciate your kind words.
In regards to the question, the quick answer is Yes. Experiencing from our recent game exhibition event, overall we have received 95% positive feedback and they really enjoy the game with a single weapon play. Lirai offers majority in action gameplay but a different kind of variation in game mode also included. This is to balance the capability of storytelling and avoid repetitive gameplay. Different kind of swords are also available to switch with different kind of stats each.
In Lirai’s game design, we emphasize in melee combat system but as the story progresses, that is when we introduced some new gameplay mechanics and weapons. The idea of using the same weapon throughout the game isn’t new, depending on the game’s direction- Souls like game I believe uses one class type through out the game.
To summarize, yes. We do have variations in gameplay mechanics as well as the weapons. However, it will not be available at the beginning of the game. It will be unlock as the story progresses.
Thank you so much for the compliment. Creating something like this takes a lot of time, and most of it will be spent on the most popular method, trial and error.
