Linux prebuild editor is missing files / does not align with Quick Starts Guide?

I am trying to set up the Unreal Editor on a Linux machine and am following the Linux Quick Start guide. For C++ development, it mentions several batchfiles, but they seem to be missing from the prebuild download.

Am I missing a step? Should these files be included? Or is the intention always to use the source build version for C++ development on Linux?
