Linux install / min requirments

Hello, I’m a web & mobile developer, but not a gamer; so I don’t aim for systems with high end graphics cards or pay much attention to hardware beside Disk, RAM, & CPU performance rank. I saw some courses for UE4 & got excited about it. I didn’t really note any system requirements in the requirements section, so I bought them and got straight to cloning & building UE4. I went through all the steps and everything on the CLI seemed good, but it crashes with a ‘signal 11’ when I try to launch.

I found a few posts here and there. One mentioned adding a ppa & updating the system,
apt-add-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers && apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
I ran that, but still get the errors mentioned below.

I read through more wiki pages about installing on Linux and noted the section emphasizing Ubuntu & the minimum system requirements. here

Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, 2.5 GHz or faster
NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX or AMD Radeon 6870 HD series card or higher
8 GB RAM
But see various posts mentioning other distros, graphics cards, etc, and hope that suggest that maybe this is just a minimum for a ‘guaranteed win.’

I am using a new HP Envy x360 that I bought a few months ago & have setup Pop OS 20.10 on.
Checking the specs I have:

Intel® Core™ i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz × 8
Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics (CML GT2)

I saw a post that mentioned they had luck launching with an --openGL4 flag on the CLI, but that didn’t seem to do anything. There is no man page installed to look at and --help & --options only launched UE4 so I’m not sure it even takes args. I am not finding much more, so now I am here.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
