Linux for UE development - anyone make the switch?

I’m so done with Windows after discovering my Threadripper 1950x won’t work with Windows 11.
Seriously considering switching to Linux.
Anyone here running UE on Linux?
Which distro are you using?
What has been your experience?

What are the pitfalls?
I would guess the biggest would be lack of fab store access and the fact that most 3rd party plugins only come with Windows dlls?

I was wondering about switching because of all the rubbish M$ are pulling with 11.

It think the non-plugin assets would be fine, the main problem is you can’t build for Windows from Linux. You need a VM to do the build, but at least that means you can use Linux the rest of the time.

In the download dialogue
