Link to the main game page from a demo

Hi,

When playing a demo, I would like to bring the player to the Epic Game Store page of the full game when he accesses a feature unavailable in the demo.
What’s the best way to do this?

  • Is there an API (couldn’t find it)?
  • Should we hardcode an URL (what’s the cleaner way to get this url?)
  • Can we make sure it will open the Epic Launcher/Store instead of just a browser?

Hey! We do support deep linking to specific product pages in the launcher. The attached document should have the details you need to set this up.

Great, it’s working perfectly!

Just a suggestion though, I think this information should be easier to find.

Even when searching for “deep linking” or “Epic Games Protocol Activation” from the Search page (Epic Developer Resources Documentation | Epic Online Services Developer), I can’t get this information.
