Can someone please tell me why this is not working?
Here’s what is happening, when I hook up the End Trace to the Target Point it works (Except flying off into the distance; not what I want).
So I am trying to hook up the Hit Location to the Target Point to set the length of the beam effect to the correct length.
Additional Info:
The line coming into this image is a Tick Event.
Have you double-checked that your Emitter and Target Indexes are correct?
Can you screenshot the particle effect emitters?
Sorry, I wasn’t sure what you wanted me to screenshot so…
I don’t have any “Instance Parameters” on my beam that I use as a laser.
Check that your emitter’s Target Method is set to User Set and not Actor. Here’s how mine looks:

And then this is how I set the end location of the beam (it extends from my emitter’s location to the location I pass in). It looks like you are doing the same thing.
