Linear Breakable texture stretching?

I enabled linear breakable and applied it to the bones with bodies on the UE4 sk_mannequin. Most of the bones break correctly, however, if i try to break the bone in the head or the neck the texture tries to follow the bone after decapitation(rubber necking literally lol).
Why does this happen? Is there a way to create my own character mesh so that when i break the bone it disconnects from it’s parent bone without the texture from the main body extending itself(stretching) to the detached limb?
