Line Trace by channel error, world location

Trying to do a trace by channel on static meshes but getting super weird results. ultra noob here so do forgive my stupidity , getting no hit responses in most cases, these images are just when i do get a hit.



The hits that you see here are from when the camera is positioned in the direction of the view but standing very close to the building and looking at the glass frames. seems to be a world location issue but can’t figure it out. tried printing the world location of the camera when interacting but it seems to be ok.

Had to scale the vector and get a rotation vector first. problem solved !
