liminal space like psychological horror. I call it project liminal. it has 9 zones and is heavily inspired by Kanye pixels the backrooms found footage. The development team has 5 members right now, which really started the commitment for this game. currently there is 2 areas. the lobby (or tutorial) which shouldn’t count as a level in this game more as a tutorial. the first zone is the school, and I’m not going to spoil the rest. CDs are meant to be found around the map which have more lore about the game. its my fist really committed project and I’m proud of it so far! If you have any ideas or feedback, let me know.

Greetings @gamertram !
Congratulations on collaborating for your first, really committed project! Liminal space is definitely a concept worth exploring psychologically, as liminal space is quite a scary and uncomfortable space for a lot of people to be in.
The CDs you come across in the game, are they CDs as in “compact discs”? Will this be a game set in a particular decade? Will you play with different lighting in each zone to emphasize the horror? If so, what type of lighting will you consider? What are the roles of your development team members?
wow, I’m glad your interested! the game is planned to have a demo with the first 2 sections released on itch.io in around 2-3 months, and have the full game release on steam 2023. The discs are planned to be played with different players in their respective areas. the lighting will get darker and lighter throughout the game, as each level has its own mechanic and ai. the development team actually gained a few members today, and the current roles are voice actor (multiple), concept artist, map designer, sound designer, 3d modeler (for the props on the map), script editor, and story designer. (the game has a half finished story right now) thanks for your interest!
Based on your reply, is this going to be a multiplayer game, or does a person play as a different character in each area?
This sounds like a very cool concept! You have quite the team! You are so fortunate! Thank you so much for sharing! How did you assemble your team to make Project Liminal a reality? Are you all friends, work colleagues, students, friends of friends?
