Lightmaps vs dynamic lighting over mesh terrain issues :/

I sure could try :slight_smile: Only have 3Gb RAM total available on Gear VR :frowning:

I wish landscape would perform as well as static mesh terrain performs on mobile.

I see you edited the post to include the “Use Normal Maps for Static Lighting” images. Hmmmph. I really thought that would do more to help this case. Could be a bug, I will check in with Daniel about it, but note it might be a few days for anything else to happen on our end at this point unless of course I missed something and somebody else steps in and saves the day.

maybe check if your material is using any special world space normals or anything, could possibly be using wrong space or something in lightmass.

Normal map works perfectly with dynamic lighting, so I assume it’s using tangent space, if that’s what you mean :o
