Lightmaps improvement for archviz ideas.

Hey guys,

I was wondering how we can go about improving those contact shadows which are never there.

I had a look at the lightmaps and noticed they are not really as I expected them. ( a white&black texture).

I was wondering if Epic could give us the possibility to manual edit a lightmap after it’s baked. We could like render the scene with Vray to get those nice contact shadows on the floor and after just put it on top of the baked lightmap from the engine.

I think if we would have the possibility to manual edit a lightmap texture the results would be much better. ( even if it requires extra work).

What do you think? Would this be possible? Maybe Epic staff could look into this and let us know the answer.
