Hello everyone!
In my UE4 project, which is a blueprint project, (4.26 - Epic Games launcher) I use several levels. I use levels separately for the main menu, the intro, or even for the game map itself. When I build the lights on these levels separately, there is no problem, the process runs successfully (I thought it was important to note that the light build works anyway, and doesn’t run into errors).
However, if the main level (where the player will be able to play, and where the assets are, etc…) is where the build always fails. I get this message:
“Lighting build failed. Swarm failed to kick off.”
I’ve looked around on the internet, I’ve read a lot of forums (a bit older) about this, but I can’t find a solution for my case. So I’ll try to ask around here, maybe someone can help me, you wouldn’t know how much it would mean to me, as I’ve been dealing with this for about a month now…I have tried these (downloaded UE4 through Epic games):
-
Cleared the Swarm Agent cache.
-
I have fixed the client within Epic Games Launcher (Verify)
-
I restarted the Engine itself and of course the computer several times after each process.
-
I’ve also deleted all assets from the level in case there was a problem with one of them (possible duplication), but that didn’t help either.
I think it’s something with the assets or objects, because if I delete a large number of objects from the level (hundreds, maybe a thousand…), it works. I don’t know if it could be a name identity bug or a problem with the materials? Sht, I’d give anything for a concrete error message…*
If anyone has had similar problems or has any good ideas, please please please let me know! Thanks in advance!
