Lighting and textures not looking normal on iPad

Hey everyone,

I am new to the platform, and starting a course in game development next month, have come from a similar application development background but just thought I would get started on some tutorials prior to my course to see how it all goes.

I have been working through the office tutorial by Unreal on their YouTube channel, currently only have a Macbook Air so it runs pretty ordinary, but my issue is when I deploy it to an iPad it looks totally messed up, so just wondering if someone can point out whats happening here?

This is how it looks on my mac

And this is how it deploys to the iPad

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Haven’t deployed to mobile yet with UE4 (done a lot on UE3), but looks like you need to improve your lightmap UVs and/or increase the lightmap resolution on those meshes/surfaces where the blockiness is. Texture compression on iOS is pretty average so this part is really important.

Also - what are your packaging settings for building to Mobile?
