Lighting and rendering issues using Assemblies (Packed Levels)

I created some custom Assemblies with my own assets, but I’ve noticed a few problems. Firstly, my emissive lighting doesn’t work at all once I drop the assembly into the world. It looks fine in the packed level, but not in the assembly itself. Also, in one of my assemblies, one mesh is showing as completely black when I drop it into the world. Again, it’s fine in the packed level.

Also, if assemblies are blueprints, why don’t they only support geometry? If I can’t have my FX or lights included, they become much less useful.



I notice they fixed something to do with packed level actors in the latest hotfix. Might be worth a shot… ? :blush:

I can give it a try. I am using 5.3 in that project so I’ll have to update to 5.4
