So i migrated my project from 5.5 to 5.6. In 5.5 the lighting was perfect and there were no problem at all. I migrated to 5.6 cause it was better optimized in the new version and some stuff that i will have for the game only existed in 5.6 natively so now im instead trying to get my head around why the lighting all of a sudden decides to do this. Near lightsource there is this weird black cloud that i cant manage to find a solution for. We have the trees near the light that is lit up weirdly and not really correct. The on the top of the trees where the light doesnt reach then there is this stupid light that i dont know where it came from.
So just some clarity, im using raytracing, ultra dynamic sky and weather, the shadows are dynamic, the trees have motion. All of this worked in 5.5 like i said so someting in 5.6 is making it not working. Do i have to rethink everything or is it just some settings that i might need to look over? Ive looked over the project settings and the individual objects settings, but cause there are so many settings here and there im sure im just blind xP
Okey i did notice one thing when it was starting up, it looks perfect the first second but then it kinda wants to autoexposure up to it all! I know i dont have autoexposure on but could there be another setting that does it?
So to remove the black cloud i went into the project settings - engine rendering - default settings - Local exposure Highlight Contrast - set it to 0.5
That fixed the problem, i tried the local exposure in post process but that didnt actually fix it but doing it through the default settings it actually worked!
