First of all, congratulations on releasing your demo! A huge accomplishment. From what I can tell the combat animation and world design look really immersive and polished. As for “what is missing”, I don’t really have much to add. Except maybe some pretty flowers/grass or the occasional lantern. The ambience already looks terrific though

This is super impressive for a first game. I love that you went for a Roguelite influenced RPG. I really want to praise your animations as they are made well. Especially the animation around archery. It looks absolutely spectacular. It looks similar to real life and doesn’t seem to take away from the game’s fast-paced nature!
Regarding adding something with the light, would the handheld torch be usable in combat or maybe alternative light sources with different features?
Yes, we’re going to work a bit on the lighting in the environment just before the demo, and for the full game, probably some more polished mechanics regarding darkness!
