Hi how can I correct the unnatural light on the face of the character.The head is covered by a hood which should not let the light pass instead.

Since it’s a skeletal mesh it would be using dynamic shadows so you’d need to mess with the directional light shadow settings and tweak that.

If you can’t get better shadows on the face you can look into Contact Shadows which use screen space shadows so that stuff like their facial features will cast clearer shadows.

I tried as you suggested and sadly I was unable to correct that piercing light defect.
Surely there is some trick to fix it but I don’t know it.
