Solved the problem. The issue was caused by the ‘Light Source’ within the level. In the details panel of the Light Source, there is an option to adjust the Light Shafts. The ‘Occlusion Mass Darkness’ has to be set to a higher value in order to avoid either of the lenses to darken when in VR. This of course effects how the “god rays” look in the level. The reach around behind THAT problem is to check box enable “Light Shaft Bloom”. This will of course make your god rays work a little differently, but I suppose for VR right now, that’s the best method you can make without physically making the god rays.
