So I have some lights (also a flashlight mechanic) but the light doesn’t affect some materials, like the paper in this video but also some other ones (I have made myself).
What can I do to fix this?

Can you show the material graph of the paper?
I’m not home right now but it is literally just a texture sample hooked up to the base color (I don’t really have any material experience)

Hmmm… could be something to do with a mesh option you clicked?
I had to change, in my main material, in the details panel, under translucency, and set the lighting mode to surface forward shading. I don’t know what it does but it works.

Ok, so you had the material set to translucent? That’s why it was getting no light
