Hi,
I would like to merge both ground lidar surveys and image-based 3D model to produce an accurate 3D mesh.
Terrestrial Lidar are good for capturing some uniform materials and produce better precision that photogrammetry so
I would like to scan a place with both method and then (assuming that the lidar point cloud has been cleaned from artefacts):
-
Align them
-
Project the image-based 3D model onto the Lidar (not the texture but the 3D model so it will use the Lidar Point cloud as guide)
Is this possible?
Is there any workflow/tutorial about it ? I already watch this one but it’s not this workflow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZut6f17Vtc
If anyone can help this would help a lot!
Thanks
Ben
