License extension glitch (?)

Today I was stuck in a loop close to the end of a promo license.

Version: 1.0.3.6310 RC  I hadn’t purchased a new license yet as I hadn’t received any of the expiry notifications mentioned on https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001527592-License-activation-transfer-and-renewal I’ve been working daily with RC and haven’t seen any warnings re: expiration

Main error message was about frequency of activation requests (at least I’ve changed my password now) and with the subsequent options I almost missed the message about the pending expiry.

As I knew it was expiring soon anyway I check my account and saw that it is expiring today. Purchased a new license and the automatic extension kicked in after ~30min.

May also have been related to my last crash report submission. Crashed towards the end of a reconstruction. Error message only appeared after restarting RC.

Were you able to activate the license or do you still have a problem?

The error stopped but probably because I changed my password in response to the error message just in case.  Reconstruction stopped at midnight with an “unknown error”. Restarted at RC and it prompted me for password and activation. Had to pick which of the 2 licenses to use even though one was now expired.  Reconstruction resumed where it had stopped :slight_smile:   Logging in to the site I now have only 1 license listed so everything seems to have sorted itself out.
