Allow me to introduce myself. I am a solo full-stack game localizer, modding tool developer, and currently an apprentice in the localization field. I’m writing this to offer free Indonesian translation services for your indie horror games.
I have previously created localization mods for several indie horror titles, which were then played by major Indonesian YouTubers during their live streams [exclusive]. Please understand that my intention is never to disregard English as the international language—while it is taught in our schools, the reality is that many gamers here still struggle to fully grasp it. We deeply appreciate the games you create, and my only goal is to ensure that the atmosphere, emotions, and storyline flow seamlessly to Indonesian players in their native language, allowing them to truly experience the game exactly as you intended.
To give you an idea of the impact, here are a few mods I’ve created. One notable example is my work on a game called “Coincidences?”. Originally, the game didn’t support Indonesian. After I created a localization mod for it, a prominent Indonesian YouTuber played it, and the video gained over 2 million views! Shortly after seeing this traction, the original developer took the initiative to officially add Indonesian subtitles to the game. (but it’s not my indonesian localization the dev itself create indonesian into the games)
So, if any indie horror developers here are interested, I would love to offer my services to help bring your game to the Indonesian audience—completely voluntarily and for FREE.
