[LFW] Independent Music & Audio Talent | The Higher Eclectic Ground Thread

Introduction

Hello, I’m Sean Braganza.

Under the moniker of Higher Eclectic Ground, I provide written, editorial, community and PR support to independent game developersand multimedia game artists.

At the crux of my management services for freelancers is to help build an online presence for their services, scout/network for new jobs and handle communications with prospective clients. You may learn more of these services via the hyperlinks above.

Music Composers & Sound Designers

The following thread has been created to promote the availability and services of the freelance music composers/sound designers I’m currently affiliated to in the capacity of a manager. I’ve been given full consent to do so, apply for jobs on their behalf and represent them in communications with developers who might be interested in their work.

At the bottom of this thread is a complete list of these music composers/sound designers; pick through each to be redirected to their respective profiles on the Higher Eclectic Ground website, each of which provides a description of their services, portfolio of work, professional history and the nature of our relationship.

If you’d like to collaborate with any of these professionals on your own game projects, a Contact Form present on their profiles should enable you to get in touch. Alternatively, you may e-mail me concerning any of the artists or other queries at sean.b[at]highereg[dot]com.

Perks

Making use of my community management/PR services, I am also responsible for providing successful clients of the following music composers/sound designers with perks such as —

  • Relentless, complementary press and social media coverage of those games to which they have contributed to and worked upon. Have a trailer launch, alpha/beta test or crowdfunding campaign coming up? I will issue a press announcement on your behalf across Higher Eclectic Ground’s various channels.

  • Mediation. Correspondence and progress of all jobs are monitored, while steps are taken to ensure proper legal procedures are followed and that both parties uphold their ends of the agreement in a timely, professional manner.

  • Networking Opportunities. I routinely follow the progress of various games my artists have worked upon, also attempting to service any other freelance personnel needs that might arise during your games’ development.

While each music composer/sound designer’s profile should provide a history of the independent games they’ve worked on as a result of Higher Eclectic Ground’s support, a complete list of the publicly announced games my artists have worked on in totality can be found here.

Other Media Creators

While this thread serves to only highlight Higher Eclectic Ground’s freelance music/sound designers, I also have a similar thread established for the 2D/3D artists I manage, here on the Unreal Engine forums.

We thank you for your consideration and I hope you find value in all that I do.

We’re back!

And we’re commencing a new year of operations by finally announcing and opening the Higher Eclectic Forums.

Our members & associates have spent the past few weeks of January testing the place, getting themselves acquainted with its machinery and setting themselves up. Created primarily to facilitate interaction between them, potential clients, followers and the press, the Forums also serve to provide independent game development talent not particularly affiliated to us with room to promote their own creativity.

If you – the Musician and/or Sound Designer that you are – haven’t done so yourself, please do come in and set up threads around your work, promote your creative portfolios of game audio work and interact with others’.

The forums also provide developers looking to fill positions on their teams/projects, with a more organised means to get in touch with Higher Eclectic Ground’s affiliated freelance talent – all of which is clearly outlined in our official announcement. Note that the OP of this thread has also been amended to reflect the existence of our Forums (see Getting In Touch With A Musician/Audio Artist).

Normal flow of work should resume over the course of this week, so do stay tuned for updates to this thread. Thank you for your patience, continued support and we hope to see you all online. Here’s wishing every one the very best of creativity for 2017.
