Levels stream perfectly smoothly and quickly in editor and very slowly in standalone

I have several levels that stream into each other smoothly using fades. When I run the project in editor, the transitions are perfectly smooth and very quick. When I try to run it in standalone, it takes 10 seconds to load certain levels. I was running everything perfectly for a long time, and this problem just started happening. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Have you tried launching the game or packaging the game and trying this via the .exe file? Do you see the same lag in these instances or is it limited to standalone?
