I’m fairly familiar with asset creation, texturing etc, but i’m looking to have a few big buildings in my game and I was wondering if anyone had some good advice on how I would go about doing it all. Should I model the entire building inside and out in maya and UV map all the different surfaces for texturing or is there a better way. Mainly wondering if anyone knows of a more efficient way of doing things.
many people use modular assets for making buildings. some model entire floors others just parts or sections of a floor. when it comes to modular its really up to you.
