Some years back, sprays in creative used to be extremely limited (we believe it was something close to 20 sprays limit in the entire island). However, now, all players can spray infinitely, and this can cover entire walls, shops, and ruin the immersion of the experience while also blocking important information.
We’d love to see an option for an island to limit sprays to 20 in an island, similar to how it used to be.
Don’t agree with this
I’ve seen plenty of islands where some surfaces are immune to sprays; if you don’t want people spraying all over the map just make sure that important information is on a surface that can’t be sprayed over. The sprays go away after a player leaves anyways so letting people use a lot of sprays just increases retention and playtime.
There is no reason to not have it as an Island Setting. An island setting would allow a creator to choose to have it open like it is now, or provide a way for creators to limit the amount of sprays placeable in an experience.
Sprays are used like emotes, and are great in moderation, but when there are too many it can really take away from the aesthetic and appearance of an island. Disabling them for everyone is just as unviable of an option as keeping them without limits.
