Legs and hands animation broken. Why?

After importing from blender in UE5 FBX - animating is broken. Its broken only for legs and hands, why??

Yeah, this sounds like a usual Unreal and Blender conflict. These two don’t have the best relationship, specially with animations.

The usual approach that’s followed around the community, would be to reset export/import settings in both UE and Blender, in order to rule out any conflicts between either configuration. Also, please make sure that any transforms and/or modifiers are implemented before transfer. After that, test importing your mesh again, and see if the legs and hands remained as intended.

If the issue persists, please test the method detailed here, I have found it useful for similar scenarios.

thx for reaction, but its still no working with error after export with addon: β€œArmature is have a multiple roots, Unreal use a single bone rootβ€œ. But how i can do IK without multiple roots idk if IK bones doesnt need a parent bones.

The problem turned out to be trivial. I watched your video and said the addon for exporting, but it still didn’t work properly. Then I tried to find a better addon and found β€œSend to unreal” addon, but it didn’t want to export my model because armature had scale [0.85: 1.0: 1.0]. Then I changed the scale of armature to standard 1 in XYZ. After that, I exported FBX again using standard Blender tools, i.e. without addons. And now everything works correctly.

Strange things are happening in UE…
