Legal Questions For TWFC (Transformers War For Cybertron)

I created a mod that added the dlc from Console to PC.

I was wondering if I could go into the files legally because the game is from 2010 (5 years old).

People on TWFC have been no more than 5-10 (one time i was the only one online).

Since word has been spread of my mod there has been a spike of 40 to 50 players at certain times in the day.

** I am only editing multiplayer ** NOT the .exe .dll which are not allowed in the agreement.

There was a prior attempt at this mod that only includes the .ini file and has never been taken down.

That been up for 5 years since the games release

The developers would have done something by now if it was illegal.

The license was Not on activisions web site or High Moons Website.

My intention is to add the textures to PC.

I have a legal copy of the following : PC (Steam), Ps3 (Physical copy), Xbox 360 (Physical copy), The dlc from and xbox 360.

– Moved the thread to General Discussion –

@OP, this is not really a development related question. Apart from that the game in question uses Unreal Engine version 3. This forum is for discussion about Unreal Engine 4 only. However I will leave it in the General section.

Ask this in the official forum -> normally you are not allowed to change/edit/access any files from a game as long as you dont have the permission from the developers
