I come from non coding background and now i want to learn c++ i have few questions

  1. should I learn c and c++ from scratch ( if it is necessary) or just for unreal engine
  2. what will be a good tutorial or course (mostly free)

Unreal?

c++ is one of the most complicated programming languages. trying to learn it without coding background may be daunting and one of the most frustrating things you can experience :slight_smile:

Even if you not coding BG…do you know how to using unreal blueprints?
if so then you already have coding background (variables, functions, loops).

look for Codebeauty in Youtiube

She is a girl with some c++ GENERIC courses for beginners really well explained.

you are trying to learn C++ without programming experience for Unreal (a complex engine) . I think its like trying to learn brain surgery without finishing elementary school. that will be very hard.

I suggest you start with easier challenges and learn from the basics and not try to learn the most complex from start.
