Thank you very much!
Thank you! Yea a lot of things could have been done in the compositing side, but i’m not a very good compositor sadly, so i focused on doing all the things ( post process, color correction etc ) in the Engine
very nice!
Woah! Collège? Quel age as-tu? (How old are you?)
Bravo!
This is very comical and it made my day. I hope your college rewards you well for your hard work. Good job!
Good job mon pote! I feel a rick and morty vibe here!
Could you share a bit what you’ve learned about your workflow? What was the hardest part for you? Which software did you use? Did you do all the modelling first, rigging and animation?
Well done, always impressed by the work of a one man team!

Je crois bien qu’il s’agit de l’université pour les québecois.
Hello again!
Here are the screenshot for my glass material (It’s the same for all the glasses in my scene). I hope it helps, it’s nothing fancy but it worked well in my scene!
Thank you!
Merci! J’ai 19 ans, très bientôt 20! Au Canada le Collège ou Cégep est l’école qu’il faut faire avant d’aller à l’Université. ( I’m 19 years old, very soon i will be 20! In Canada Collège or Cégep is the school you must do before going to University )
Thank you very much! What i learned about my workflow is that i should prepare in advance the things that i’m not 100% sure how to do them so i that i don’t lose too much time on those things. I wasted a lot of time trying stuff and learning of a way to make things work the way i wanted to achieve the look that i had in mind. The hardest part is a tricky question because i struggled with a lot things :p. What i would say was the hardest part was the rig.
Here is the list of software that i used and what i used them for :
Zbrush: For the high poly sculpt of my character
Maya: - Modeled and made the UVs of all of my assets
- Animated my character
- Retopoed my character
- Rigged my character
Adobe Premier: For the video editing and sound editing.
Adobe After Effects: For some video tweeks like the blur.
Adobe Photoshop: Made most of my textures, my storyboard with photoshop. I made my movie poster with it as well.
Substance Painter: I made some texture of some assets with substance painter, but not a lot ( i’m still learning this software )
I did my modelling first, rigged after and animation. However, my scene with my rig was in reference. Since it was in reference i could animate, and if i saw that there was a problem with my rig or my bind i could go to my rig scene, fix it and go back to my animation scene and the rig would update and my animation would still work. Very important to always work in reference as it saves a lot of time and it is very useful. I hope i answered all of your question if you have any feel free to ask me i will gladly share more!
Thank you very much for the kind words and i’m very happy that it made your day!
Ce n’est pas une université mais bien un cégep, c’est l’école qu’il faut faire avant d’aller à l’université.

Thank you very much! I’m glad you liked it!
Hello! Sorry for the wait, i did not have time to make a video but i made some screenshots for my rig, it’s very basic i did nothing fancy because i wanted a simple rig. All the objects that he takes during the short are part of his rig as it was easier to animate in Maya. The way i modeled my character was very basic, high res in Zbrush, retopoed in Maya. I did some hard surface stuff in maya entirely like the belt, buttons and the shoes. For the skeleton, i did not do anything really, i had good naming for each part so everything was pretty clean.
