Layered blend per bone - Arms still using lower body anim

I am trying to set up the jumping animations for my character and wan’t to maintain the position of the characters upper body so that shooting while jumping is possible.

For some reason, even using the layered blend per bone, the arms are still moving as part of the jump animation.

Can anyone see any obvious reasons for this?

Try switching your inputs around. Worked for me a few times

Also double check the spelling of the target bone

I switched them around and can now get the jumping while aiming working. I now have an issue where my reload and weapon switch animations don’t work though. One problem solved, two more created :slight_smile:

Scratch that it wasn’t fixed. I had set the blend value to 0 so it wasn’t blending the jump animations at all.

All of the other blends work fine and they are set up exactly the same so i’m very confused.
