Working on a new beta5 project and it appears that the “Layers” option is missing from my Window menu - along with a host of others. I tried making a new project, which gave me a bigger selection, but I was still missing Layers.

I am rather surprised that Layers was missing in a new project, but we’ll address that as needed.
For now, close the editor and go to your project’s folder: realtimeVis/Saved/Config/Windows/ and either (1) delete all the .ini files, or (2) rename the “Windows” folder to something else if you want to save backups.
When you restart the editor and load your project the ini files will be regenerated (or a new Windows folder will be made with the files).
Let us know if you still are missing options after this.

This happens from time to time for me as well.
If you are using windows 8, hold the Windows key and press an arrow key.
So, Windows + Left Arrow.
This will bring the window back into view.

The original question was about options not appearing in the dropdown menus. Unfortunately your solution is for an entirely different issue and will not solve this.
