Layer visibility doesn't affect on BSP

Version 4.7.2
Way to reproduce:

  1. Create level from common template
  2. Add BSP box on
  3. Select level ground and box BSP
  4. In Layers palette → Add selected actors in selected layer. They will be added.
  5. Change layer visibility to invisible, as result: ground dissappeared, but box BSP still visible.

Thank you for reporting this. We already have a ticket in for this issue with UE-1058. Currently this is backlogged and may be a while before this is addressed.

As a workaround you can convert the BSP to a static mesh when you get it to a final state and this will work properly. Static meshes are inherently more optimized than BSP.
