Layer Collide Enabled In TileMap But Does Nothing

Hey forum! I’ve been following this tutorial to learn top-down systems in UE5, and I’m up to the point where he’s talking about how to make your player character collide with the background layer of the tilemap?


2nd image is the player collision view mode.
You can see I’ve got it set up so that the background layer has layer collide enabled, but in-game there’s absolutely no collision there??

This could be an issue with my character, but as far as I know it, I’ve followed this tutorial series 1 to 1 (though it wouldn’t surprise me if I missed something…)
