Launcher wont install on newly created drive

Hello,

I recently re portioned my C:\ drive.
I had Unreal installed on my D:\ drive - I formatted my D:\ Drive and merged it with my C:\ drive.
D:\ drive no longer exists on my PC.

Now I am trying to reinstall unreal to a new drive E:\ -

At first the launcher wouldn’t run at all kept saying invalid drive D:\

Did some research and from that I went into my registry and deleted everything to do with Unreal , Epic and my non existent D:\ drive.

Now when I run the Epic Launcher installer I only get the option to " install to : 0 "

I hit Install

The install wizard smashed through in 2 seconds then I get a message that reads

The specified account already exists.

hit ok

and I get the wizard ended prematurely window

I cannot find any solutions online that work for me and I have looked extensively

PLEASE HELP

Mine is currently doing this… No clue how to fix it. :frowning: guess I just can’t play anything on epic anymore.

Hey all,

How have you formatted your partitioned drive? It could be an issue with the files you’re downloading not being compatible with your new drive.

I hope some of this helps!
