Hi,
The launcher was working a few months ago, then it stopped logging me into my account “Connection Error”.
Tried & failed:
-Firewall is disabled, still added inbound/outbound rules for Epic Launcher
-"-http=wininet"
deleted webcache folder.
and others that I cannot recall. But the still could not log in. If I click Log in later, the launcher opens with latest news and updates.
So I decided to uninstall/reinstall.
And, now the launcher stuck at “Please wait while we start your update”
One odd thing I noticed is that my PC is 64-bit, but the launcher installed the Win32, I don’t know why.
I ran out of ideas… Development is hindered, please help…
Anyone find a fix? I’m having this issue on OSX 12.3 monterey. I’ve tried everything. Purging entire direcotories and trying to reinstall. But still stuck on “please wait while we start your update” there is a little orange triangle but when I click it it takes me to a blank page.
The only workaround I have found is to disable the network, wifi in my case. Then the epic launcher will run and I can re-enable the network. This forces me to type in a password everytime. I’ve only had this happen since upgrading to osx 12.3 monterey.
