Launcher is crashing on startup

I have used ue4 for a couple of months now and since I’ve reinstalled windows, my launcher crashed on launch…
it used to work normally for 1 day, I didnt modify anything on my pc… And that day it worked, I couldnt even install ue4 4.12, an error would pop up telling me that the install has failed. Any ideas on how to fix this?
