Launcher Install fails: platform not supported

Hey, can’t get the launcher to install, even after numerous tries to fix it via reinstalling msiexec and other stuff.

Here’s the errorlog: === Verbose logging started: 07.03.2015 00:48:56 Build type: SHIP UNICODE 5.00 - Pastebin.com

Especially this line: “Dieses Installationspaket wird auf diesem Prozessortyp nicht unterstützt. Wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller .” gives me the head tilt.

Rough translation: This installation package isn’t supported on this processor type. Please contact the fabricator.

Could it be that it isn’t supported on 32 bit systems?

Hi lornlynx,

That is correct. You must have a 64 bit operating system in order to install/run the editor.

Here are the recommended specs for the Unreal Engine 4.

Also, please feel free to take a look at this Forum thread to see what machine specs other users are running the editor on.
